An evening of passionate choral works by Maddalena Casulana, Barbara Strozzi, Laura Hawley and Anna Olson, culminating in the world premiere of Benedict Sheehan’s The Passion of Mary, a new exploration of the Christian Passion narrative from the perspective of Jesus’ mother.
