Jordan D. Boyd is currently pursuing a doctor of musical arts in choral conducting at the University of North Texas. He also serves as the Assistant Conductor of the Dallas Symphony Chorus. Prior to reentering doctoral study, he was the Director of Choral Activities at the Berkeley for the Arts at Goose Creek High School near Charleston, SC where he was also the Associate Music Director of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus. As a professional choral singer, he appears on the rosters of the Cincinnati Vocal Arts Ensemble, Orpheus Chamber Singers in Dallas, TX and the Taylor Festival Choir in Charleston, SC. holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and music theory/composition from the College of Charleston and master of music in choral conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
