Maren Hrivnak

Maren Hrivnak is a soprano who originally hails from Milford, Ohio and enjoys an active career singing with a number of Cincinnati ensembles, including Collegium Cincinnati, Coro Volante, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Cincinnati Bach Ensemble and Seven Hills Baroque. She recently performed as a soloist in presentations of J.S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor at Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina and Charpentier’s Messe des morts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute, and served as a Chamber Choir Fellow at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival in Norfolk, Connecticut. Hrivnak received her Bachelor of Music degree in Elective Studies from St. Olaf College, concentrating on musician and vocal health, and her master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Voice from CCM with a cognate in Early Music, and she continues to study with Dr. Gwendolyn Coleman.
