Sam Scheibe is an American composer, conductor and vocalist whose music is driven by wordplay, harmony and groove. Scheibe’s original music has been performed and commissioned by ensembles across the U.S. and the U.K. and is published by GIA publications, Walton Music, MusicSpoke, Gentry and See-A-Dot Music. Scheibe’s recent performances as a bass-baritone have included singing with the Spoleto Festival Chorus, Seraphic Fire, Vocal Arts Ensemble, the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir and Choir Next Door. Scheibe is the director of the Penn Glee Club and a visiting instructor of music and interim director of choral ensembles and voice at Centre College, Kentucky.
