Hannah Penzner is a versatile, dynamic singer who has performed with top choral ensembles such as Seraphic Fire and Conspirare, and at festivals such as the Spoleto Festival USA and the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. As a featured soloist, Penzner has performed with Princeton Pro Musica, the Arizona Philharmonic and Quartz Ensemble, Spoleto Festival USA and the Frost School of Music in Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Bach’s B Minor Mass. While pursuing her master’s degree at the Frost School of Music, she originated the role of Mamah Borthwick in the world premiere of Shawn Crouch’s Stained Glass and portrayed Mrs. Fiorentino in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene. Now living in New York City, Penzner regularly performs with the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Choir and at Trinity Wall Street. She looks forward to performing with VAE this season.
