Heather Chute is a graduate of Capital University, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Vocal Music Education. She has taught her entire career with Hamilton Local Schools, leading the choirs in grades 7–12. She has been the alto section leader at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church since her undergraduate years. Her other performance endeavors include ProArte Ohio, the Columbus Choral Artists and Fior Angelico. Chute was also a 2023 recipient of the Manilow Music Educator Award.
