Ukrainian-American bass, conductor and pianist Sergey Tkachenko maintains an active performance schedule with Cincinnati’s Vocal Arts Ensemble, The Union and the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir. In 2025, he appeared with the JSB Ensemble of the Internationale Bachakademie in Stuttgart and was featured on the Grammy-winning soundtrack to Bradley Cooper’s Maestro. Tkachenko is the music director at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church and a doctoral student in choral conducting at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He is a sought-after coach in Russian and Ukrainian diction.
