Mezzo-soprano Ellen Graham is a versatile singer who has garnered recognition for performances in concert and opera that are “stirring” and “beautifully sung.” Regionally, Ellen has performed with The May Festival, The Cincinnati Pops, Collegium Cincinnati, Evansville Philharmonic, Queen City Opera, concert:nova and Cincinnati Opera. Upcoming concert work will take her to Texas and Washington in 2022. Ellen’s work in opera includes the roles Thisbe (La Cenerentola), Dryade (Ariadne auf Naxos), Julia Child (Bon Appetit) and Meg Page (Falstaff), as well as 12 seasons in the Cincinnati Opera Chorus. Equally at home on the musical theater stage, she has performed in regional theaters including Pittsburgh Public Theater and the College Light Opera Company. Ellen holds a doctorate from the University of Kentucky and teaches voice at the University of Cincinnati. She has been a member of the Vocal Arts Ensemble since 2014.
